Internationalization Project for the Integration of Education for Sustainable Development into VET

In line with our school’s commitment to environmental sustainability, we launched a new initiative: Raising Awareness Initiative about Sustainability Education in VET (RAISE VET) project This innovative initiative aimed at revolutionizing education and vocational training will become a factor of change within the framework of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

The main objective is to raise awareness among teachers, students and industry of the need and benefits of adequate education for sustainable development to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Sub-objectives:

• Integration of Education for Sustainable Development into VET through a European cross-sectional module covering three weeks (1 virtual, 2 physical).
• Fair Education Options: Creating teaching and learning materials that offer students opportunities for international learning, especially those with fewer educational resources.
• Developing a sustainable mentality: the project aims to empower future workers with the knowledge and values needed to foster a more ecological and responsible future.
• Green Skills for Technological Jobs: the initiative seeks to reflect on the ecological skills required in technology-related professions, with the participation of various aspects interested in ensuring a balanced vision.
• Global awareness: the RAISE VET project is committed to raising awareness of the importance of Education for Sustainable Development not only at local level, but also at national and international levels.

The project will achieve the following results:

• European Learning Module on Sustainability
• Workshop on technical professions for the exchange of good practice
• Awareness campaign on the development of environmental intelligence and the sustainable mentality in the technical professions for the awareness of students, faculty, business and society in general.
