Internationalisation modules: offer 2024-2025
Following the path begun five years ago, Armeria Eskola brings a wide range of offer for this course and has organized several internationalisation modules in collaboration with schools in other European countries. We have prepared new editions of the two-week consolidated modules that work on process automation and electroerosion manufacturing techniques, and the crossover-module that brings together electronics and socio-health care that we launched last year, for students in the High-level Courses in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Mechanical Manufacturing and Electronic Maintenance.
An innovative module aimed at Education for Sustainable Development will be developed for all mid-level courses together with two VET schools from Ireland and Germany. The goal of the “Sustainability Changemakers” course is to make students the protagonists of change and it will propose questions like:
- How can we save energy? What can we do to generate clean energy?
- What can we do to make our towns or cities more sustainable?
- What can we do to reuse electronic devices or give them a new life?
- What are the green skills required in future jobs?
This course is the result of the Erasmus+ ‘Raising Awareness Initiative about Sustainability Education in VET’ (RAISE VET) project and aims to make students, teachers and businesses aware of the need and benefits of adequate Education for Sustainable Development to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
In addition to the work placements in European companies offered to everybody interested, students from the Automation and Industrial Robotics course will participate in the Cobots module (collaborative robots) and students from the Electronic Maintenance course will be able to follow a new “E-health Equipment” module in the Netherlands.
